Setting the context

After surveying a number of executives to identify their most significant obstacles to sustainable transition, a common theme emerged: the board of directors.  

While it’s the responsibility of the board of directors to ensure the sustainability of a company’s performance in a world of limited resources, this body faces significant challenges in driving meaningful change. This study digs into these obstacles and identifies tangible opportunities for reinvention without risk of symbolic gestures that lack concrete action.
